Who can I get in touch with to help redesign buffalolib.org? I’m game.
I’ve been active at my local library recently and it made me realize how stale Buffalo’s website is. If we are the Queen City to NYC then we ought to get our act together.
Luckily there are some inspirational examples out there for reference. Redesigning a site like this is more than likely a complicated effort. Dealing with the look and feel is probably the easy part compared to the amount of data and existing systems that make it all fall into place. Convincing the right stakeholders that a new site is needed is even more challenging I’d bet.
Inspiration
greenwichlibray.org was particularly impressive. Built for scalability and be easy to read.
loa.org is another fine example of books looking nice on a page. Although this is not a local library it could easily be one.
